In 2018, she completed an MSc in Water Science, Policy, and Management at the University of Oxford. She earned a BA in Political Science from Reed College, USA. She collaboratively leads sector partnerships: Agenda for Change, the Safe Water Enterprise Community of Practice, and Uptime.

Mulumba Jane Nabunnya

Jane has 17 years experience in the WASH sector. She has worked as Coordinator for Confidence Building and Stakeholders Initiative in the Nile Basin Initiative, as Country Coordinator of IRC’s Sustainable Services at Scale (Triple-S) initiative, and now as Country Director of IRC Uganda. Jane holds Master’s Degrees in Public Health Leadership from Uganda Christian University, in Public Policy and Management from the University of London, and in Communication from Daystar University, Kenya. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Makerere University.

Gisela is an industrial engineer with a master’s degree in administration, specialized in project management. She has more than 15 years of experience in the WASH sector working with government entities and NGOs in urban and rural areas. She has experience managing pilot projects with small cities, directing the evaluation of urban water companies, designing programs for the modernization of companies, and is currently the Country Director of Water For People Peru.

Avo is Deputy Chief of Party for the RANO WASH project and has more than 20 years of experience managing and implementing complex urban and rural development projects in Madagascar. She has a diverse set of competencies in WASH, community health, food security and nutrition, behavior change, governance, gender, and training, emphasizing system strengthening and developing public and private partnerships to improve access to water supply and achieve significant and lasting health impacts.

Ruchika is a social development professional with over 18 years of experience working on different development issues in urban and rural contexts. She has a Masters’s degree in Social Work from the University of Delhi (India). Since 2014, Ruchika has been working as Country Coordinator with IRC, a Dutch NGO focusing on water and sanitation services, managing their work in India and Asia. Her interest is in strengthening institutions to ensure basic services (especially to marginalized communities) and engaging with governments at different levels to respond to this need/right.

Sovattha Neou

Sovattha is the former Executive Director of WaterSHED, a leading organization focusing on SanMark & WASH system strengthening in Cambodia. Sovattha successfully implemented the strategic exit of WaterSHED by mid-2021, leaving all of WaterSHED’s work in the hands of the government counterpart. She is currently the Country Director of CARE International in Cambodia, a feminist organization that stands for dignified work and gender equality of socially marginalized and ethnic minority women and girls in Cambodia.

Stephanie is Water Team Director at CARE (Atlanta). In this role, she works with country offices and key programs to identify and develop strategic approaches for addressing policy gaps and confronts WASH issues at the policy level in order to achieve a more systemic and lasting impact. Stephanie is also responsible for engagement in domestic advocacy toward improved U.S. policies that enable sustainable water use and resource management.

Mary is an Aquatic Ecologist with over 10 years experience in water resources management. She is one of the founding members of Women in GIS (WiGIS) Uganda where she leads the Strategy and Partnership task force. She has experience in international development cooperation and research and has worked on multi donor-funded water programs and projects that address water issues from a catchment perspective.

Milagros is a sanitary engineer by training and has received her doctoral degree in Organizational Governance, at the School of Management of the University of Piura. She has been designing and implementing institutional development programs and projects related to water resources and the environment for more than 20 years and has shared her research in different seminars, conferences, colloquiums, and international congresses. She currently works as an independent consultant in Perú where she designs and implements projects and programs linked to the sanitation, water resources, and environment sectors.

Ewurabena has 12 years of experience in sustainable development as a leader and technical advisor of integrated and multi-sectoral donor-funded programs for greater impact. She is currently the Country Director of WaterAid Ghana where she leverages the power of partnerships – among governments, the philanthropic community, and the private sector – to utilize market-based approaches to support the delivery of inclusive and sustainable WASH programming.
